STOP, CROP, AND ROLL!!!!

Well, we had to make a Bee Line straight over to Archivers tonight because Beth told us the new Basic Grey paper was in!!!!!!! There is Jane being bowled over by the thrill of it all!!!

We were in a scrapbook store a while ago, and as we were leaving the salesperson said, "Happy Cropping!" Well, that was all it took for us to burst out laughing and making endless jokes about how lame that statement was!!!! It was not a big leap for Jane to take the old fire safety addage and change it to Stop,Crop, and Roll!!! Well, she is a Fire Chief you know!
Above is a piece from one of the four new lines of paper from Basic Grey. I am a big fan of their products, but I must say I did not go ape over the new stuff. I prefer the Blush line over the new stuff. Just one gal's opinion though! It certainly is not ugly that is for sure. Anyway, regardless of what it looked like, we had to see it hot off the presses and we did!

Here is Jane with a deer stamp that I look at everytime I go to Archivers. I don't know what it is about this stamp, I just like it, but obviously not enough to buy it!
Here is Jane with our circle stamps! We saw these used on a sample card and had to have them STAT!!!!!! We ordered them about a month ago. We waited with baited breath until they came in...now they are all over the place, but we had them first people so we win!
Here is a lovely shot of all the Basic Grey new line paper.
Stamps!!!!!!! and Ribbon!!!! Don't you just want to dive in????????

Okay, seriously... what do you think the people at Archiver's think when people are this silly & hepped up over new merchandise? Oh well, we know how to have fun and it is these little things in life that make us smile... thanks Laura for capturing this moment! Proof we are crazy to go out in single digit weather caught on film!!!

Funny pic of Jane :o) I haven't gotten a hold of the new Basic Grey but am patiently waiting. I'm also partial to the 'blush' line and the older ones since there are more boy colors in the older lines. You know with Montana i gotta have the boy colors :o)

What a fun post!!! I am drooling and can't wait to go to my favorite spot in Santa Monica, CA called Sweetpeas and Snapshots (isn't that the cutest name?). Love all the eye candy - thank you so much sharing with us!

It sure looks like you had a fun trip. I don't know what I'm more jealous of - your crazy friends or that you have an Archivers. I'm greener than Kermit right now.

This looks like you are having way too much fun. LOL Loven this post. This store looks like one I'd like to find. Is it called Archivers? I wonder if there is one in Sacramento. I'm off to Good Search right now. But first:

Hey Laura! I feel like I know you and the IL girls already. I'm the one Beth met at Archiver's. I work there and absolutely LOVE it!! Beth got me hooked on everything. I absolutely adore her. You know I am a Naperville native and my folks still live there. So I'm there a lot. Email me if you can. I would love to offer you and the other girls something!

Take care,

Sue
