Valentine Fairy Giveaway

In keeping with the lovely tradition started by Sandy of Art Tea Life I would like to sponsor a Valentine giveaway! I will draw names of participants who leave a comment for me on my blog. To make my day, would you leave the name of one of your favorite books in the comment section? There will be two winners, one stamp to each winner. The first one is a charming little fairy from Stamp Francicso and the second one is a cool word stamp from Inkadinkadoo. Last entry taken at 12 noon central time this Sunday, February 4th.
I will write all the names down on slips of paper and then Mike will pick the winners during half-time of the Super Bowl this Sunday! I hope the Bears are winning at half-time and at the end of the game!

Well, I'd love to sign up...the fairy is really unique! My favorite book (of course, keep in mind that I have a three year old and a 14 month old so I don't do much right now) would be Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress. It was well written, comical in parts and sad in others and, the best part, it was a quick read too!

i want to play! can i still sign up?

i haven't read much in years, which is odd because as a child/teen that's all I did. Back then I was all about Stephen King, and if I recall my favorite was The Stand. I liked the Talisman too, but I can't remember how it ends. Sometimes his endings are a little weird.
And sometimes blog comments just go on and on and on....

What fun, what fun, what fun! One of my favorite books is "The Tailisman" by Stephen King and Peter Straub. I cried at the loss of some of the characters and at the time when I read it, I did not want the story to ever end. I also really liked "She's Come Undone" by Wally Lamb. I finnished my second TBR book last night "Sickened".

Laura, your energy and enthusiasm for life are staggering and contagious. I have resolved this morning to get up earlier and stay up later and to get more creativity in each day. You are an inspiration!

My current favorite book (partly because I just finished reading it) is American Bloomsbury: Louisa May Alcott, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Margaret Fuller, Nathaniel Hawthorne, and Henry David Thoreau: Their Lives, Their Loves, Their Work by Susan Cheever. Aaah to have lived next door to Emerson! What we missed. I think you would enjoy reading it, if you haven't already.

All the best coming at ya -

Dorothy Drake
