The Genius of Jennifer Bradley

A few years ago I was lucky enough to make the internet acquaintance of Ms. Jennifer Bradley who lives in Maryland. We met through the Inky Antics forum.
Christmas 2007: I started a Card Kindness group so that people who wanted to join could send Christmas cards to each other. Then someone suggested that we do birthdays too. Unfortunately our group has totally petered out.
And then there is Jennifer! She sent us all Christmas cards this year (I have included the ones she sent me and my Mom. I stole my Mom's card from her house so that I can have it in my collection!) Jennifer also sent me a birthday card (the one with the darling elephant).

What a thrill to receive these works of art! Jennifer is a genius at mixing papers, buttons, ribbon, and layering. Her coloring of the images is darling! She told me that she makes about 10 Christmas cards a month so that she has enough by Christmas. That is definitely a goal I would like to meet; but I have not stamped one card yet this year. Something I need to rectify.

Anyway, I just wanted to show everyone how cute her work is and maybe send some inspiration your way!

Thanks Jennifer!!!!!

Hi Laura! Such cute cards and just what I needed. I have a card exchange coming up in a few weeks and can not get motivated to get going on it- so this helps! Thanks for the comment- have a cozy day!

Oh, these are wonderful! I love the idea of the card swap -- and the thought of doing 10 a month (which is a little overwhelming but boy, what a great goal!). Just charming and happy. I have to start on Valentines -- as Patti said, this is a good motivator!

Awwwww Shucks - thanks Laura - that was really sweet! Thanks for the others for leaving such nice comments - I would be all smiles if anyone was motivated through my cards.

On a side note I have started my Christmas cards for 2009 - I have 6 done and hope to have the rest done (10 for this month) by the end of next week. I know it is crazy - but it feels so good to pull those cards to send the 1st week of December! After all, the whole reason I got into card mkaing was to make Christmas cards.

Those cards are gorgeous. I can easily see why you would want to collect them. :) I am a card-maker/stamper wanna be. I have tons of supplies, but just can't get the hang of it. What a great goal she has of doing 10 cards a month and then she is ready at Christmas. Love that.
