Here are some more finds from last weekend's trip to St. Louis. The ephemera that we found was nothing short of amazing. We found a good amount of these valentines from the 1920's. The design and illustrations on them is just right up my alley.
The shocking thing was the line drawings on the inside of the card!!!! We can blow these up on the copy machine and use them in cards and journals!
What a dear little red-headed girl!!!
The most expensive Valentine we found was $2, most were 50 cents or a dollar. (This never happens to me!!!)
My Mom found these bathing beauties and bought them for me! Only $2 apiece!
These are pages from a book that was really dirtied up, but the illustrations are just so good! I won't feel guilty just cutting them up and using as is!
The back of this photo is marked "8th Grade Graduation, 1922."
The back of this picture is marked "Lucille Harris." She is a beauty!
I am so hooked on vintage cards, photos, sewing patterns, and books!!! They just bring me such joy!

You and your ephemera addiction.....I love it !!!
and I'm so glad it makes you so happy !!!
and those bathing beauties....my fav !!!!
Great finds!
Lucille Harris is gorgeous!
And I'm with baby...keep the cake close!!!
And about "Across the Universe", we watch it at least once a week. Josh was hit hardest with the "beatle bug" after seeing it.
He now knows every beatle fact, he wants round JOhn Lennon sunglasses, and sketches pictures of them on everything.
By the way, I read Water for Elephants and Sundays at Tiffany's while at lake. Enjoyed both. :)

I am in love with those bathing beauties. I want to be one of those bathing beauties. And Lucille Harris was completely gorgeous. I can't wait to hear the story you invent for her.
Oh, I got so excited about your goodies, I forgot to ask you this: When you get a chance, will please stop by my blog? I left something there I hope you will enjoy.
Lucille Harris looks so lovely!!! OMG, her flushed cheeks are just heaven! I love the story about brother's birthday too. You know that between the three of us our Rubber, Paper, Sisters store WILL be a reality!
Eeeek! (that is the sound of me shrieking!) What a find you have here. Oh you lucky girl! Thanks for sharing. Wow!
Hope you're having a wonderful week.

UNBELIEVABLE! I want to go there, too! I'm an ephemera nut as well!
Love your blog. I just wanted to share this link to a friend's ETSY shop. When I saw your blog, it totally reminded me of her collages. http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5271829
