New Book!

My favorite author has a new book out! I just picked it up on my way home from work. While I was waiting at the train station for Mike I started reading. Only got 3 pages in and I am hooked!! I will put aside my current book so that I can read the new Elizabeth Berg. If you have not read a book by her; do yourself a favor and do so. She is a wonderful storyteller and has a way of putting into words your most soulful thoughts. She is starting a book tour for this book. This Sunday she will be at the Orland Park, Illinois library. My Mom and some of our friends are planning on going. By the way, my Mom is doing much better. She is recovering her strength a bit slowly; but all in all she is doing great. Here is a link to Elizabeth Berg's website; her book tour is quite extensive. She might be coming to a town near you. If you get a chance to attend one of her readings; try to go because she is just wonderful!

Hi~ I am soooo working on going and it looks good that I will. Glad you like the book- I hope to pick it up tomorrow or Sat. They'll have them at the library for signing, don't you think? Did you get to see the sun when it came out for 15 minutes today??? I didn't even recognize it! Stay dry~

Hey Laura! I picked up the book last night at our Borders after being helped by a REALLY cranky lady to the point I almost walked out of the store (but then I would not have had her book). UGH! Anyway- LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! I am about a third through. It is so far one of the best ones I have read by her in awhile. I am looking forward to tomorrow. I am planning on being at the library then I need to be in New Lenox by about 4:30, so hopefully I can get the book signed, visit with you and then take off for my "mini vaca" in Springfield. Looking forward to meeing your mom too! Have a great (sunny?!!!) Saturday! See you tomorrow!
