Fun Weekend

Spent the weekend doing all of my favorite things.....hanging with my husband, shopping, eating out, going to the library, stitching and watch TV.  As you can see above I finished Maltilda Hornbuckle by Notforgotten Farm.  I love her!!!  Can't decide whether to frame her or have her made into a flat-fold.  Opinions welcomed!

I have so many books at home that I want to read, but when we went to the library to look for just one thing.....well, I couldn't contain myself.  I have wanted to read each of these books and when browsing the shelves and coming upon them......they just jumped in my arms.

Now to figure out what my next project will be....I should go back and work on the Wild Berries the new LF by BBD; but I feel like pulling something else out of the stash.  Plus there will be all the new market stuff!!!  It just never ends.  There is always more to stitch and more to read.....what fun!!!!!

Love your Matilda finish! I am the same way when I visit the library. I always borrow more books than I have time to read. Oh well, we must do what makes us happy.

Congratulations on finishing Matilda Hornbuckle! I'm sure you'll come up with the perfect finish for her-you can't go wrong.

I'm a big reader too! Thankfully our library allows us to renew most books online twice. Which means I get 9 weeks to read them before having to return. Sometimes I need it!

I love your Matilda Hornbuckle. I can't wait to stitch her myself! You are so right... so many cute patterns out here, so little time to stitch them all.

Love Matilda--I'd frame her and then put the framed picture on one of those little easel things and display it on a shelf, rather than hanging it. I agree about the library and the barrage of new chats!

Matilda is so cute! When I have a bit of time I always have trouble deciding whether to read or to stitch! I always stitch in the evenings but it's late afternoon that I have to choose-that is when I have the time.

Congratulations on getting Matilda all stitched up! What about a flat finish like an ornament and then placed on an easel? Looking forward to seeing how Matilda gets finished!

Matilda couldn't be cuter! Flat fold is good.

Cute finish! I think this design is so funny...pumpkin head in a boot. I envy your stack of library books. I think I need to wait until vacation to read a book. Things are just too hectic. Hope all is well!

I simply cannot wait to stitch my own Matilda!
I entered this crazy Halloween mood and purchased all sorts of Halloweenish charts. I'll have to stitch pumpkins, witches and bats through all 2014! :D
hugs, happy xxx and reading,
