Return to Stitchville

It was stitch night at my friend Jayne's house last night. It was so good to be back among my merry band of stitchers!!!! Here is Jenny holding her Red House Sampler by Brenda Keyes. My eyes nearly popped out of my head!!!! It is stunning! The house, the people and the border!!!! I would trade all of my stash to just work on this project (just kidding! but if it was a real situation, I probably would!). Needles to say, I am now fixated on this beauty.
Above is one of Karin's Hinzeit projects. Beautiful!
This is one of Jayne's current projects. She has the jewelry box as shown in the picture of the completed project. Instant heirloom!
Jayne has her bunnies by Danybrod framed in her entryway. Perfection!
Here is Karin's progress on the C Street Samplerwork's project.
Here is Karin's collection of project bags which are handmade. Natalia at Stitching 4 Joy makes them. Here is a link to her site....click here!!! Sorry this is blurry. The project bags are completely gorgeous and meticulously made!!! They are works of art in and of themselves!!!
Here is another must do project!!!! Linda was working on Red, White and Bloom from Country Cottage Needleworks. It looks fabulous!!!
Jayne had party favors for us!!!! Darling teacup gift cards.
One of Karin's WIPs. Can't wait to see it when the red starts getting added!
This is one of Patti's current works. Love this bunny!!
Vera Update: Pat has the new Eloise bag in one of the new summer prints!!!!! I had to put it on and walk around the room.
Patti has a friend who went to the big Vera Bradley sale in Fort Wayne. She came back with this very unique bag for Patti. It is a very cool shape!
Another pitter-pat project! This is Teresa's Jardin Prive project. Can't remember the name of this one but it is contained in two or three charts. This blue flower is just amazing!
Here is an on deck project of Teresa's.
Here is my new Vera!!!!!! When I flew to LA to see my BFF, Noreen, she had this waiting for me in the front seat and inside there was a cold Tab!!!!!!!! Does she know me or what???? It was so exciting.

Jayne's entryway is always a magical place! Here is a darling bunny to welcome us all!!!! As always, we had a total blast and I can't wait until the next stitching gathering.

You certainly have some serious stitching friends with some "serious" stitching!

Looks like y'all got a lot accomplished....thanks for sharing and enabling!

And nobody missed me? I was sure you'd all just sit there feeling lost and forlorn, unable to take a stitch. I guess I'm not the glue that holds the group together after all. :-(

Oh gosh! Sounds like such fun! I love seeing all the pics and the lovely stitching and the bags and etc. The stitching wallets that Karin had are from Natalia of Stitching-4-Joy. I love them and am ending up with a collection too!

WOW Laura - you always get me in such trouble !! However I adore seeing what your stitching friends are up to - we can't stitch everything (we sometimes try) so it is nice to live vicariously thru others. Love that Red House sampler - I wonder if that one is in my stash?? I have the Sampler Bouquet (the 3 part french sampler) and Cathy did a lovely conversion to silk for me - Oh I should show on my blog. Glad you are back and still reliving vacation moments. Melody

By the way, I am the woman that makes the wallets Karin bought !! LOL !! Thank you so much for the kind words. It is a lot of fun to make them and I've met some wonderful women through them. You can find me at www.stitching-4-joy.blogspot.com Thanks for the picture !!

How exciting to see Jenny's Brenda Keyes Red House Sampler. I have a variation on my wall that began my love for BK samplers. This one (Jenny's) is waiting in my stash. I will eventually stitch it when time allows this summer. It will look beautiful as a companion sampler to the one I completed four years ago.
