Broadway Show Tunes and all that jazz.....

Over the last year or so I have been listening to albums of Broadway shows. I guess it all started when I went to see Wicked, which I loved!!! I bought the CD and listened to it ad nauseum. Then at work I was listening to Accuradio.com and they had a special Broadway station which introduced me to a lot of other musicals. Head nerd reporting in sir!! Anyway, that lead to the purchase of several musicals. My current favorite is The Drowsy Chaperone!! The music is great and the plot is hilarious! I wish I could jet off to New York to see it! What Broadway show would you most like to see (present or past!!!)?????? I would love to know!

I changed around some links to other blogs in my sidebar and added a few more lists of my opinions. Please feel free to opine about any of your faves here!

Okay, tomorrow is Friday! Wahoo! Go to work, come home, feel exhausted, sleep a lot, and hopefully (as I say every weekend) get some cleaning/organizing done and stamp a lot! Usually that turns into reading and sleeping a lot!

We had the Pippin album growing up! We were in love with JOhn Ruebenstein (sp) and knew every word to every song! I think my cousin (Crafty Mcgee) turned us on to it.

But my new favorite DVD has to be the Finley MIddles School production of Oklahoma! starring Aaron Duda! (I must have a soft spot for those curly-haired crooners!)

I really liked Moulin Rouge..all that oppulance! It does not fit the category of a Broadway show, but I think that it would be way cool as one.

Also, sorry about my "Regular Joe" posting the other day. I read it today and all I can surmise is that I am a "Regular Nut Case" with a dash of hostility thrown in there..yikes! I feel like the mayor of crazy town these days! Too much work and not enough rubber in my diet!
