People, it is true that I try to write only positive things on my blog. I mean why dwell on the negatives in life? But I must say that what draws me close to someone and ensures my beloved devotion to my friends is because I know their weaknesses. I certainly can tell you all about their strengths, but I really like a person who has the ability to speak honestly about their humanity. Someone you can always be yourself around because you know they are a "regular Joe."
I am a Regular Joe because:
1) I spend too much money on books, music, and art supplies.
2) On Sundays, if I can get away with it, I just lay around the house all day and read and take naps.
3) I am the world's worst housekeeper.
4) My husband does the laundry and most of the cooking.
5) I desparately need a pedicure.
6) I could eat an entire medium/large pizza myself.
7) I can eat Taco Bell five times a week (except Mike won't let me).
8) I hate going to parties because I detest small talk.
What makes you a Regular Joe???

Oh my, our "regular joe" list is very similar. Taco Bell! :) I do the laundry and cooking (if you can call it that), but poor Mike has to iron himself a shirt every morning.
that is why i love you! i also can eat like a regular joe, i could eat portillo's 5days a week, i do laundry but let it sit in the clothes basket until we empty it, i hate to weed and would rather pay the landscapers to do it! i am a fierce friend to the end with my close friends(aka tooters)...xoxox
I am a regular joe as I would rather pay someone to clean my house than do it myself. I too hate parties as I detest small talk...I could tell you about my worst small talk subjects, but Laura you already know what they are. I talk as if I am the most non-judgemental person around...it is a facade,I have to shut it out all the time. I am a people pleaser and do things I really would rather not do just to make others happy. I am affectionate to a fault and have been known to stalk my dear friends. I also can't spell and I suck at math! I complain about my weight, yet am too lazy and tired to work at shifting it around.I could go on, but puhleese!!
Although all your lists are very entertaining and I can relate to almost all of them I believe what they are descritbing is what makes each of you a regular yes but more importantly a "unique regular joe".......

ps - I prefer Chipotle to Taco Bell but don't think for a minute I would ever turn down a Extreme Chicken Crunchmelt or beef meximelt!!!
I don't like parties either. Small talk, yuck, usually with people who you don't really know and everyone tries to act like they are actually interested in each other. Then in the car ride home, you compare notes with the hubby about everyone, including what they were wearing....what a waste of time. I'd much rather be at home reading or arting !!!!
And can you believe that other then one time and ordering a simple taco, I don't eat at taco bell ??? What a dork I am, huh ?
I love to do laundry...seriously, it doesn't bother me one bit. And I used to hate to vacum, but now with my new dyson, that won't be an issue anymore.
And Laura, you and I don't drink coffee and most "regular joes" do....so now what does that make us ????
I definately share #'s 3, 5 and 8 with you, Laura! Other things that make me a regular Joe?
I hate making packed lunches for my kids because I'm too lazy to think of what I should put in their boxes. Most times I rush over with lunch money.
I'm a grump until I have morning's cuppa.
I don't make my bed for days together sometimes!
You and I have A LOT in common. My hubby does all the cooking (and the dishes) but we go "dutch" on the laundry. I would eat Del Taco (not Taco Bell), five times a week, if Josh would let me!
Trixie told me of your blog, and I'm so glad she did!
mmmmmm, I do love a spicy chicken burrito.
