Not Enough Time!

Glorious Friday night is here! I have so many fun activities to be doing right now and there is just not enough time for everything!
First of all, I am still going ape over my renewed love of cross-stitch. I found an internet store that has tons of patterns and a wish list feature. I have been going through the site and finding tons of patterns that are so cool. I put them on my wish list and that helps me with my "want monster." This way at least I know where the stuff I want is! The site is called ABC Stitch Therapy! Great name.
So, in addition to visiting all my usual blogs I now have cross-stitch places to visit.
I received the books below this week from Barnes and Noble and they both look like fantastic reads!!! Also, this weekend I will obtain all the new magazines put out by Stampington along with the new Holiday issue. Plus, now I want to get the Christmas Cross-Stitch magazine!
Also in the not enough time category all these new Fall shows are starting!!! I have devoted way too much time this week to Dancing With the Stars; but I can't not watch it! Plus we have to watch Heroes, Survivor, The Office, political news, and The Cubs are going to be in the play-offs!!! I am glad I have the cross-stitch because that will make watching play-off baseball more fun. (Do you understand that? I am sure all you crafters do.) So I am glad it is the weekend. The work week was really cutting into my "me time!"

I hope you have a weekend filled with special delights and lots of relaxation!

(all pictures on this entry taken by me in New Carlisle, Indiana; except for the book picture on the bottom which was taken in our house)

Just found your blog through Let's Stitch. You are so creative and optimistic. It made me smile...

I have got to spend more time working on my blogs.

Thank you for visiting my blog and for the wonderful compliment about my age; I am going to be 41 in about a month. I liked your idea (which has disappeared) about the charts give away blog. I have been thinking about something like this for some time and think that our stitching community (have you seen the stitching bloggers list?) should have our own "ebay" blog. A sell/trade/giveaway blog where we could post, or a moderator could post our "ads" to sell, trade or give away charts and other stash (blogs only allow for 100 members). I have checked out etsy before and there aren't too many charts and things there really. I'm not sure that I would want to run such a large venture, that is why I have been thinking about it and haven't done anything about it yet.

Thanks for the wonderful comment!! I have a friend has been to the Las Vegas stamp store and she says its good! There is a post and pictures of Lady on my blog from August. We had rescued her as well and she is such a sweetie- She's almost 4 now and she really lives up to her name. Her previous owner couldn't give her the time she needed- she was a somewhat hyper boder collie- she's calmed down a lot- but he took real good care of her. His loss...our gain!Abbey goes to the vet tomorrow for a check-up- it looks like we'll keep her if she is somewhat healthy; I hope so!
I have to tell you- I was looking at your blog (I love it by the way) and came across your post for Crush! A almost fell off my chair- I was laughing so hard- in a good way! Those were my 3 as well (only Donny was first) and I told my Mike about it and he named all 3! The only one I might have somewhat included was Tony DeFranco of the DeFranco Family. Do you remember them? Sorry for the long (and 2nd) comment here... take care!

Can you believe Jim finally proposed? Do you think he and Pam will really get married? I am so nervous for them. It's like they are my real kids or something.
