Today I am obsessed with.......

Art by Diane Duda. This woman is a genius!!!!!! This is her work above and the newest addition to my growing Duda collection.

Seeing all five movies that were nominated for Best Picture today! (so far have only seen The Queen)

Retired Stamping Up set, Sugar and Spice (thanks Karen! said with sarcasm!)

Finding out about music that is tinged with the sounds of India and George Harrison! Thanks Anjali! By the way, please visit Anjali's blog, Lotus Reads, for the best book reviews around!! I love her blog!

Daydreaming about being a famous classical musician and having this as my album cover!!! How Rhonna Farrar!! (if you know what I mean!)

Broadway show tune CDs!!!!! Chicago, 42nd Street, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and my current favorite, The Drowsy Chaperone!!!!

Self-exile to a magical cabin in a forest located next door to the world's best bookstore and stamp store!!! I could read this book, The Top Ten, and order all the books that sound interesting and stamp and read to my heart's content.

What are you obsessed with lately?

What a great post, Laura, you really do think of the nicest topics to blog about!

I just LOVE this card...I will have to check out Diane Duda's site and drool.

I think it's a great idea to check out the five movies that were nominated. Last night I saw "Lil' Miss Sunshine", I really don't know what to make of it because it's a tad strange, however, I would like to see 'The Queen', I'm sure I would enjoy that.

Thanks so much for the sweet mention! I hope you're having fun with the Indian music - I'll have to think of more recommendations soon.

What have I been obsessing about? Let's see - I've been watching a lot of clips on "You Tube" recently. I watched all those controversial clips from "Big Brother" and I also watch a whole lot of Bollywood videos! :)

ooooh and I do agree, the Mozart cover is most enticing! :))

First of all...the album cover is FABULOUS and has given me ideas for one of my next art pages.
Now, what am I obsessed with lately ?? Hmmmm, ok here goes...

1.how my butt is going to look in a swimsuit this year as a result from sitting on it too much working on art and the computer.

AND

2.whether or not I should color my hair again or just go natural.

oh yeah...and one more....I've been obsessed lately with lotion and chapstick as this winter weather is making my body crack just about everywhere !!!!

oh Love the Diane Duda ! you are getting a great collection of her work ! This one is so happy. LOVE it

Thanks for the links
I must go exploring on so many tidbits you have laid out ....

Obsession lately...hmmm. oh I know....I am sheepishly admitting to playing a video game I know is too young for me ! Animal Crossings. You get a house , and you hunt for treasures that you sell to pay the money back for your house...you fish and catch bugs and donate these and paintings to the museum. oh and you excavate bones and put together dinosaurs that the curator of the museum tells you history about. You find paintings to donate too that are famous artworks. You help your neighbors and can work for them. You have to send letters off to the place that identifies the bones you find before you can donate them to the museum....you collect shells on the beach for $$$ to help pay off your house. YOu get points for decorating your house...oh I have been very busy indeed.

remember me telling you I have no time to read ?
